<p>HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — The Ottawa County deputy health officer is retiring at the end of May, the county’s department of public health announced on Friday.<br /><br />Deputy Health Officer Marcia Mansaray will be retiring on May 31. The county said that the current health planning and promotion manager, Lisa Uganski, will succeed her beginning June 3.<br /><br />Mansaray has been the deputy health officer since 2020 and started with the department in 2006 as a health promotion specialist.<br /><br />“Marcia has served her community with a unique blend of wisdom, empathy and grace that I have especially appreciated over the past year. I will miss her partnership and counsel,” Health Officer Adeline Hambley said in a release. “I’m excited for Lisa to step into this role. Her knowledge, expertise and passion for serving the community will serve OCDPH well moving forward.”</p>]]></content:encoded>
