The next Michigan LG will help the governor oversee the biggest healthcare lobby in Lansing (MDHHS), as well as the fastest-growing department (Labor and Economic Opportunity), the most closely associated with industry (DIFS) and the oldest and perhaps most entrenched (Licensing and Regulatory Affairs).
