The people of Michigan owe special thanks to healthcare heroes who defended our freedom in 2021.

Healthcare professionals prefer to save lives. These Michigan heroes didn’t set out to be freedom activists when vaccine mandates threatened their jobs.

Probably, few had any idea about the cost of stopping federal overreach. In fact, hospitals dished out pressure of all kinds – coworker rudeness, management manipulation, lies, delays.

Uncertainty continued to the end of 2021. Do waivers work? Dare I risk this job with the coming baby, the house under construction, the bills, the family? Do any jobs accommodate healthcare freedom?

They endured it all, and cried in private.

Michigan needs to realize that when these healthcare workers stepped up and said, “No” – they stood up for us. By planting their feet, they stopped a decades-long healthcare trend from advancing even farther into federal mandates for all of society.

At the MHF Facebook Group, we welcomed them to activism, supplied them with facts, resources, and a support network.

However, these heroes of healthcare freedom deserved more to show our deep gratitude and honor the significant work they did for freedom in 2021.

So we offered them and their families healthcare freedom T-shirts, a window decal, a free pass to a gun range. Activist Care Packages, in fact. Responses started coming in.

That’s the Michigan Healthcare Freedom legacy: helping freedom become a family ethic, and spread outward. (It’s pretty great to see hospitals calling people back, too.)
