HSBC, USA analyzes investing trends. Most interesting for our purposes, it has a variety of healthcare market reports available as free downloads.

This is important for health policy, because people choosing where to place large sums of money take extreme care with their market predictions. Thus, their accuracy is likely higher than that of the average healthcare prognosticator concerned for its own interests.

HSBC stands for the The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, first incorporated in 1866, and growing to China, the UK, and then spreading worldwide. Per Wikipedia, "HSBC has offices, branches and subsidiaries in 62 countries and territories across Africa, Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America, and South America, serving around 39 million customers. As of 2023, it was ranked no. 20 in the world in the Forbes rankings of large companies ranked by sales, profits, assets, and market value."

In 2024, investors finally started to invest in new deals. However, based on these near-term trends, investor focus has shifted.
