I recently met the Texas whistleblowers. Their experience should be a warning to Michigan families, clinicians, and policy-makers.

This week's MHF blog post.

A recent Do No Harm Podcast discusses how academic journals cement the intellectual, personal, and financial ties between academia, healthcare industry and regulatory bodies.

S1E6: Academic Journals and the Infusion of Censorship, Bias, and Bad Research

By Benita Cotton-Orr, MD and Stanley Goldfarb   |      January 20, 2023

Dr. Stanley Goldfarb and Senior Fellow Benita Cotton-Orr expose how medical journals are excluding research that doesn’t align with diversity, equity, and inclusion – representing a massive intrusion of racial issues into objective science.

Are respected academic journals seeking the truth or is science now serving prejudged outcomes?

Every Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic in the state of Michigan is required to be tested on their 'Cultural Humility' according to the EMS Initial Education Program Director Manual

https://www.michigan.gov/mdhhs/-/media/Project/Websites/mdhhs/EMS-FILES/Education/Program-Director-Manual--3312023.pdf

As it states on page 16, to be certified each Emergency Medical Technician, "Recognizes that implicit biases affect all persons. Seeks to learn about cultural issues and how bias may play a part in social determinates of care. Provides competent, equitable care to each patient."

Tried, convicted, and sentenced - that's the status of all licensed health professionals in Michigan. (The only exception is veterinarians, but don't depend on that continuing with the identity craze.)

No chance of acquital by a jury of your peers: the only ones who matter are the rule-makers at the boards of professional licensure in LARA.
