Every Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic in the state of Michigan is required to be tested on their 'Cultural Humility' according to the EMS Initial Education Program Director Manual.
As it states on page 16, to be certified each Emergency Medical Technician, "Recognizes that implicit biases affect all persons. Seeks to learn about cultural issues and how bias may play a part in social determinates of care. Provides competent, equitable care to each patient."
Tried, convicted, and sentenced - that's the status of all licensed health professionals in Michigan. (The only exception is veterinarians, but don't depend on that continuing with the identity craze.)
No chance of acquital by a jury of your peers: the only ones who matter are the rule-makers at the boards of professional licensure in LARA.
