Do No Harm's email tonight reports President Trump's Executive Order destroying DEI in higher ed.
Forum readers are already aware of MSU's dreadful DEI policies frothing up from accreditation. You will be glad to know this EO drills right down to that issue.
New Executive Order
Cracks Down on AccreditorsI have an absolutely incredible update.
Today, President Trump signed an executive order cracking down on higher education accreditors’ DEI activities.
The order holds accreditors accountable for injecting their ideological agenda into medical schools’ policies and curricula.
This is HUGE news.
“We applaud President Trump for taking this crucial first step towards dismantling accrediting bodies' divisive influence over medical schools,” said Stanley Goldfarb, MD, Chairman of Do No Harm.
“By promoting accreditors' accountability, the executive order gets rid of schools' pretext for pushing discriminatory programs themselves,” said Dr. Goldfarb. “This is a great step towards restoring integrity to American healthcare.”
We’ve shown with our research how accreditors are often the unseen culprits behind DEI in medicine, corrupting medical education with “diversity” mandates and discriminatory standards.
And we’ve been working to combat their harmful influence with partners at the state and federal level.
This order finally holds them accountable. In fact, the White House even singles out medical education accreditors specifically for their promotion of DEI.
“The Liaison Committee on Medical Education and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education imposes [...] discriminatory requirements, prioritizing ideology over quality medical training.”
This order is a crucial step toward ridding medical education of toxic, divisive, and discriminatory politics.
Thank you,
Kristina Rasmussen
