House Health Policy Sept-Oct 2025: Menopause, core curriculum, EMS tort immunity, CMV ed, hearing aids

Unfortunately, with all the uproar over shutdown and SNAP interruption, most of these bill issues have not yet been reported in mainstream media.

Menopause bill links and previous reports are posted here.

I find the whole situation fascinating. Heavily-regulated Michigan doctors are too busy to research menopause, it seems. And it's the information age, but the legislature is dissatisfied with the amount of information available. So legislators in their wisdom are instructing MDHHS, from its ivory tower, to instruct practicing physicians in the ways of menopause.

Like I say - fascinating.
