Unfortunately, with all the uproar over shutdown and SNAP interruption, most of these bill issues have not yet been reported in mainstream media.
Menopause bill links and previous reports are posted here.
I find the whole situation fascinating. Heavily-regulated Michigan doctors are too busy to research menopause, it seems. And it's the information age, but the legislature is dissatisfied with the amount of information available. So legislators in their wisdom are instructing MDHHS, from its ivory tower, to instruct practicing physicians in the ways of menopause.
Like I say - fascinating.

A search of "critical incident stress management" brings up dozens of organizations offering such services, and a CISM Primer from SAMHSA.
At a guess, this issue may be driven by unions with both state and federal government support.
